I’m 23 minutes into this podcast, and its awesome! But I have one thing to add: why does it take so long to say that dreaded word…JAZZ?? Holdsworth is a JAZZ musician. I think that explains a lot of the disconnect between him and Dweezil Zappa during that one performance Zappa described. I think it would be great to hear what Holdsworth meant to the jazz community.

I think what I described is just a function of who is talking versus Part 2 of the podcast, but its unfortunate that someone like Zappa can’t say that dreaded word…JAZZ
